The Lost friendship

That was the time when the story began,
Three different people when shook their hands.
Soon their friendship got much fame,
Besties was what they gave it a name.
From attending lectures to bunking classes,
Jealous of them were the rest of the masses.
Time passed, their friendship grew strong,
Secrets, gossips, everything they shared among.
Unaware were they of the destiny’s play,
Never thought one day they will drift away.
Then came a time when everything changed,
The popular friendship lost its name.
Together they are standing still,
But destiny now has changed its will.
Somewhere deep they still miss each other,
Nobody but speaks this further.
Watching those pics my eyes are wet,
Why did this friendship came to an end?
I wish i could bring back the time,
When everything was proper n fine.
Wherever you go i pray that’s good,
Want to bring back that friendship if i could.

College life

We entered into a world that was new,
To find out that we were the chosen few;
All the things around were strange and queer,
But something inside said that there was nothing to fear.
Time progressed neat and clear,
Reminding us that the end was near;
Looking back to the days gone by,
Gives us a reason to cherish and cry.
We struggled hard to give our best,
So that in peace and calm, we may rest.
We wept when the days were bad,
Friends were the family then who made us glad.
We enjoyed bunking boring classes,
Canteen was the place where we shared many gossips.
We met people who made us blush,
Not longer did we realize that we had a crush.
Days and weeks, we sat and listened,
Only to realize that nothing has glistened;
We longed for the days that were to come,
Our hopes clinged onto reasons that were some.
We had our days under the sun,
Which were nothing but full of fun.
With every passing day, we near the end,
We longed for the past that we could mend.
With hope and despair equally spread,
Its the world outside that we dread;
But like the rosy days that we discuss,
All this could pass without any fuss.
The world we knew was full of high – fives,
Needless to say, those were the best days of our lives.

Silence speaks

It whispers something softly until I smile,
And leads me in a state of bliss for a while.

It tells me my mistakes loud and clear,
And helps me bravely fight my fears.

It consoles me when I’m low and distressed,
It’s soothing voice helps me when I’m stressed.

It shares with me the memories of the past,
Whether good or bad, memories of contrast.

It handles the problems that come in way,
It forces them for not making a stay.

Louder than words it speaks,
Deeper than voice it sounds,
It awakes the sleeping seeker in me,
Its nothing but silence that talks so loud…

From the very beginning of this life,

You were the one who stood by my side.

You gave me birth, taught me everything,

Today I think what good have I made you bring.

Holding my hands, you taught me to walk,

I don’t know how fast has time hit the clock.

You covered all my lies,

And saved me from all those silly fights.

When I was low, you made me strong,

I don’t know this much will how can someone hold on.

You are the one who manages it all,

From kitchen’s mess to dad’s cholesterol.

Never you complained,

Never were you tired,

Never were you lazy,

Never you retired.

Away from home in this big city,

You are the one like whom I want to be.

My silence only you understood,

When I was distressed and low in childhood.

Sleeping in your laps seemed heaven for me,

Nowhere else could this comfort ever be.

I know I made many mistakes,

Not listening to you and acting so fake.

But today everything I’ve realized mom,

You are the one who has made me so strong.

You are my hero mom,

All you taught I will always carry along.

You are truly a gift from God above,

Only he could have made you with so much love.
